A couple reviews of our "We Are Birds" EP ...

'The New Bird in Town' Portland Mercury 7/5/07

"We Are Birds is the start of something real, an important movement that will (hopefully) not only change the structure of independent music, but it will cement the legacy of the Rock 'n' Roll Camp for Girls as well."

The Oregonian 7/6/07

"Lucky for the planet, Blubird has landed. The duo of Una Rose and Katie Alto, both 13, both graduates of Portland's Rock 'n' Roll Camp for Girls, creates memorable melodies to inspire social change."

STEPITUP GLOBAL WARMING RALLY 2007, downtown Portland

On April 14, tens of thousands of Americans gathered all across the country at meaningful, iconic places to call for action on climate change. We were invited to the downtown Portland event to perform our song "What if We Don't Want to Be Warm? (Global Warming)".

Úna and Katie join hundreds of others in signing the "Face It" banner ...

... which a band of global warming warriors will walk 40 miles to the state Capitol. Some will walk with solar panels on their backs so the group can have power for their laptops and cooking gear along the journey.
